More than 35 years of experience in process optimization

A Worldwide Network

ENOTEC GmbH was established by Fred Gumprecht in Gummersbach, Germany in 1980. Prior to the establishment,
Mr. Gumprecht represented Westinghouse Electric for five years, selling the Westinghouse InSitu oxygen analyzer, model 218.
Since 1986 ENOTEC  has produced self-developed oxygen analyzers based on zirconium oxide (ZrO2) technology. The relocation of the head office and factory to Marienheide, took place in 1989. The product range expanded ever more over time, so that ENOTEC is today your competent partner for all ranges of emission and process analyzing applications.

Over the years, subsidiaries were founded in the United Kingdom, USA, Singapore and in Minsk. These subsidiaries and numerous distributors and agents worldwide guarantee technical expertise, regional knowledge, and competent support to solve all your analysis problems.

Development and Innovation

is an acronym for ENergy Optimisation TEChnology. A field which is of immense importance from an economical (combustion efficiency) and environmental (emissions reduction) point of view considering the implementation of stringent emission reductions targets.

The OXITEC® 5000 oxygen analyzer, developed by ENOTEC and used throughout the world, is a continuous advancement of the oxygen analyzer developed by the company Westinghouse in the 70's (model 218). Thousands of measuring systems of this series are in operation in power stations and combustion and process plants. Despite its roots in the seventies, our continuous development of the zirconium oxide measuring technique ensures our sensor to be cutting edge technology, providing the highest accuracy on the world market.

ENOTEC's unique soldering technique guarantees a durable gas-tight sensor. Probe material and design of the OXITEC® oxygen analyzer enables an enduring, problem-free operation of the analyzer, even under the most adverse of conditions. Many imitations of the original sensor exist, though all are less accurate and most probes are not robust enough to survive the corrosive and dirty gas conditions in which the ENOTEC probes excel.
By the use of InSitu measurement (measurement directly in the flue gas, without extraction, sample conditioning etc.), the OXITEC® oxygen analyzer requires low maintenance and its response rate surpasses any extractive measurement.

The SME-1 electronic unit, first launched in 1987 has over the years been continually developed and upgraded to include new technologies and is now, as the SME5 well known for its reliability and range of functions. The SME-5 has impressive hardware and software features to enable intuitive handling and comprehensive evaluation of your measurements. Latest generation microcontroller, high precision integrated circuits, large bright display and self-diagnostics are just a few of the outstanding assets of the SME-5.

In 2003 ENOTEC launched the COMTEC® 6000 gas analyzer for the measurement of O2 (oxygen) and COe (combustibles), which is the world-wide first reliable InSitu gas analyzer system for combustibles. COMTEC® 6000 permits a more efficient burner regulation and a faster diagnosis of the combustion quality. A considerable reduction of costs is possible due to the increased accuracy of measurement, energy saving and emission reduction. The cost of acquisition accordingly pays itself off in a very short time.

In 2004 ENOTEC launched CEMTEC®, a gas sample probe for a particularly difficult application, namely flue gas analysis in cement and lime kilns. The extremely high dust loads and temperatures in cement and lime kilns result in constant gas flow blockages and short life spans of most analyzer systems. This is not the case with CEMTEC®. Being able to withstand temperatures of 1400°C combined with continuous mechanical and pneumatic cleaning of the probe enable manufacturers to continuously measure flue gas at the kiln inlet for intervals of several months at a time with an availability of measurement of 95%.

The AQUATEC® 1000 H2O analyzer was introduced in 2007 and has proven to be a versatile and valuable answer to all humidity measurement problems. Whether it be used in dehydration processes to economically accelerate the drying process or to identify leaks in boiler tubes, the application possibilities are countless.

In 2011 the extractive analyzer system 600E was included into the COMTEC® family. This 19" rack system is for measurement of oxygen and COe. It was designed for use in industrial plants throughout the world and can be integrated into existing measuring systems.

A Solution for all Analysis Problems

ENOTEC has not only limited itself to the development and production of gas analyzers. ENOTEC is well known for planning and execution of CEMS and process measuring technology. In this regard, our systems range from a single probe of our own production, to individually designed systems consisting of products from all major OEMs, through to ready-for-use emission and process projects, all built completely to your specifications.

Continuous training and experience of over 30 years, enable our engineers and technicians to advise you expertly and reliably in all questions relating to analyzer technology.
